first-of-its-kind compilation of short films by African American directors from
the producers of the SHORT and CIRCUIT series, showcases seven short film's by
emerging African American directors, featuring Charles Stone III, Chuck Wilson,
Jeff Byrd, Lee Davis, Muhammida El Muhajir, Niva Dorell, and Tanya Boyd. Includes
"True" (the film that sparked the Budweiser Beer "Whazzup?!" campaign), "Breakdown"
(starring Vanessa Williams), "A Gut Feeling," "Breakfast at Ben's," "Kings," "Hip
Hop, The New World Order," and "The Gift." Most of these directors have moved
on to work with Hollywood studios on their feature film projects.
